On the night of January 3, 2024, the Comal County Sheriff’s Office received a report for a missing juvenile from the Bulverde area. Following the report, an Amber Alert was activated. The morning of January 4, 2024, saw the discovery of the juvenile, unharmed and alone, in the 1000 block of TX-80 in San Marcos, Texas. Detectives, utilizing security footage from the area, identified a person of interest. Subsequently, the individual was located and investigated.
On January 5, 2024, an arrest warrant was issued for 38-year-old Ronald Lavoy Martin Williams of San Marcos, Texas. Williams was apprehended without incident and is facing charges for Trafficking Person From Shelter, classified as a 1st Degree Felony. Currently held at the Comal County Jail, his bond has been set at $100,000. The investigation remains ongoing.
