The City of New Braunfels Fire Marshal’s Office is reaching out to the public for assistance following a suspicious house fire on Fern Avenue yesterday, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, around 4:30 p.m. Residents on Fern Avenue, Perryman Street, and Merriweather Street are urged to review any exterior video footage, including Ring doorbell footage, that may aid in the investigation.

Authorities are particularly interested in identifying a person of interest described as a female with dirty blonde hair, potentially dressed in jeans and a dark coat. The individual is believed to be on foot and may be pulling a wagon or cart.
