Bexar County Man Sentenced to Life Without Parole for Killing Mother, Shooting Stepfather

Frank Falcon

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A Bexar County man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a judge sentenced him for the 2022 killing of his mother and the attempted murder of his stepfather.

On February 10, 2026, Judge Benjamin Robertson of the 226th District Court sentenced Frank Falcon to life in prison without the possibility of parole for capital murder in the death of his mother, Linda Webster. Falcon was also sentenced for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting of his stepfather, Mark Webster.

Crime Followed Eviction Dispute

According to court testimony, the violence stemmed from a dispute over unpaid property taxes.

In July 2022, Falcon had been served eviction papers on behalf of Linda Webster after she discovered property taxes on the home she owned were not being paid, violating their rental agreement.

Later that evening, Falcon obtained a key to the home from his son and entered the residence. Prosecutors said he shot Linda Webster while she was asleep in her bedroom. He then fired at Mark Webster, grazing him in the head. Mark Webster survived the attack.

Falcon’s daughter later told authorities she witnessed her grandmother being shot while lying in bed under the covers.

Prosecution and Impact

Assistant Criminal District Attorneys Oscar Salinas and Lauren Scott led the prosecution, with support from Victim Advocate Sarah Young and Investigator Ralph Gracia.

“Justice demanded a verdict that truly reflected the loss and trauma inflicted upon this family, and we are grateful the jury agreed with our pursuit of accountability,” Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales said. “We hope today’s outcome brings some measure of peace to those impacted by this horrible tragedy.”

The life sentence without parole ensures Falcon will remain in prison for the rest of his life.
