MEDINA COUNTY, Texas — Emergency crews responded to a serious rollover crash Saturday afternoon, February 7, just before 1:00 p.m. on County Road 4713 near Private Road 5753.
According to Medina County Fire officials, callers reported that a vehicle had struck a tree and rolled over. When crews from Fire Stations 10 and 11 arrived on scene, they found the vehicle resting on its passenger side with two occupants trapped inside.
Due to the extent of the damage and the position of the vehicle, firefighters had to remove the roof to safely access and extricate both patients. Once freed, the occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The severity of their injuries has not been released.
Responding units included Ladder 10, Medic 10, Engine 11, Medic 11, and Battalion 10.
Saturday’s crash marked the fourth major accident Medina County crews have responded to within a 24-hour period, highlighting an unusually busy stretch for first responders.
