SAN ANTONIO, TX - A search for a wanted fugitive led Bexar County deputies to uncover a large-scale narcotics operation and seize significant quantities of drugs and firearms, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
On Jan. 9, 2026, deputies were attempting to locate Ruby Delarosa, who was wanted on three active felony narcotics warrants related to a prior investigation. Deputies observed Delarosa leaving a residence in the 1300 block of Hunters Plane and traveling to a business described as a dispensary in the 1000 block of West Avenue.
Investigators said Delarosa opened the business and conducted multiple transactions. Deputies observed jars of marijuana and various THC products in plain view inside glass display cases. Based on those observations, investigators obtained and executed a narcotics search warrant for the property.
During the search of the front counter area and a padlocked back room, deputies seized a large quantity of illegal drugs and weapons. Authorities reported recovering approximately 60 pounds of marijuana, more than 50,000 grams of THC edibles, 1,514 grams of THC vape cartridges, 720 grams of cocaine, 90.8 grams of methamphetamine, and 30 grams of psilocybin. Deputies also recovered two handguns and $2,420 in U.S. currency.
Delarosa was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. She faces multiple felony charges, including manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 over 400 grams, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2 over 400 grams, and possession of marijuana between 50 and 2,000 pounds.
The investigation remains ongoing.
