San Antonio homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting outside a downtown bar.
According to investigators, the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. on June 21, 2025, in the parking lot of Bentley’s Beer Garden at 802 N. Alamo Street. Police say 25-year-old Walter Whiten is accused of shooting 32-year-old Allan Roquemore multiple times before fleeing the scene.
When officers arrived, Roquemore was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the suspect and Roquemore had been seen walking together and talking shortly before the shooting. Police say an argument broke out, at which point the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots.
A warrant has been issued for Whiten on charges of murder and aggravated assault. He remains at large.
