KERRVILLE, TX - A Kerrville man has been arrested after attempting to rob the Kerr County Federal Credit Union on Tuesday, December 30, around 12:51 p.m.
Authorities say 42-year-old George Washington Waring II entered the bank in the 2300 block of Junction Highway and handed a note to a bank employee demanding money. No money was exchanged, and the suspect left the bank in a vehicle.
Responding officers quickly located Waring’s vehicle in the 700 block of Junction Highway and conducted a felony stop. Waring was detained without incident and later booked into the Kerr County Jail on charges of robbery. No injuries were reported, and police are not seeking additional suspects.
