The Uvalde Police Department has filed a new round of charges tied to the September 17, 2025 shooting, expanding the case to include additional suspects as well as the reported victim.
As of December 1, the primary suspect now faces charges of tampering with evidence, theft of a firearm and engaging in organized criminal activity, along with the original aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge filed in September.
Investigators also filed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and organized criminal activity charges against a juvenile and two other adults believed to have been present during the shooting.
Police say the reported victim admitted to possessing a firearm recovered at the scene. As a result, additional juvenile charges were filed.
Uvalde Police, working with the U.S. Marshals Service, are actively searching for 19-year-old Irving Flores, who has an active Uvalde County warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is believed to be in the San Antonio area.
“The Uvalde Police Department remains committed to ensuring public safety and holding all individuals involved in this violent incident accountable,” Asst. Chief Mike Davis said. “We have zero tolerance for violent crime. In this case, everyone involved was a party to multiple crimes, and everyone involved will face consequences.”
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about the case or the location of Flores is asked to contact the Uvalde Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
