Two individuals from Fort Bliss have been apprehended in connection with a tragic mass shooting that claimed the lives of two people and left four others injured. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning in the parking lot outside the Ditzy Duck bar, located in the Airway Plaza bar and restaurant area on Airway Boulevard.

Aaron John, 22, and Andrew James Williams, 20, have been accused of firing into a crowd in the parking lot, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and causing injuries to four more. Following their arrest on Friday, both men were charged with capital murder and are currently being held at the El Paso County Jail in Downtown. The authorities have set a bond of $2.5 million for each suspect.

Detention hearings for John and Williams were scheduled to take place on Sunday morning, but they have been rescheduled for a later date this week. The prosecution will present its case against the defendants during these hearings.
