In Maverick County, Texas, the Department of Public Safety (DPS) conducted arrests this morning as part of Operation Lone Star (OLS). 31 illegal immigrants were apprehended for criminal trespass, following a surge in attempted unlawful border crossings in the Normandy area.

The group, consisting of 20 females and 11 males from various countries including Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Cuba, was taken into custody. They have been transported to the Val Verde Processing Center and will face criminal trespass charges.
