On February 5, 2024, at around 8:35 pm, a high-speed chase involving a Bandera County Sheriff Deputy and a silver Chevy Cruze began in the Lakehills area, spanning through Medina and Bexar Counties.

The suspect turned off all lights during the pursuit in an attempt to escape law enforcement.

At 8:55 pm, Bexar County Deputies joined the chase. However, the pursuit came to an end shortly after as the suspect managed to evade capture.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
