On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the Uvalde Police Department responded to a call for service at the Inn of Uvalde, located at 810 E. Main St., in reference to a female individual who wanted to turn herself in to law enforcement.
Following an investigation, the police arrested 26-year-old Rainey Page Mcghee for an outstanding warrant issued for Smuggling of a Person: Pecuniary Benefit out of Uvalde County. Mcghee was subsequently transported to the Uvalde County Justice Center, where she was confined to jail.
