A 17-year-old girl lost her life she was shot during a heated dispute. The fatal shooting occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Thursday along Streich Road, near Interstate 37, in Far Southeast Bexar County.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound to her chest. Despite the attention of paramedics who treated her on-site, the young girl succumbed to her injuries.
According to investigators, the dispute had its origins in a feud between two groups, with threats being exchanged on social media. The situation escalated when a group of six individuals arrived at an Elmendorf home, and tensions quickly flared as weapons were brandished.
