On Saturday evening, October 7th at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a business in the 4100 block of N Loop 1604 W for a report of a disturbance. 

Upon arrival, officers contacted one subject who related while driving along Loop 1604, the subject and their spouse became involved in an argument. 

The subject related during the course of the argument, the spouse struck the subject in the face, causing swelling.  The subject stated they pulled into the business location and as the subject exited the vehicle, the spouse drove off leaving the subject behind.  The other party was not on the location as officers conducted their investigation into the incident. 

This case forwarded to criminal investigations for follow-up.
