Greenville Man Arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter After Fatal Crash

47-year-old Samuel Wayne Hood of Greenville, Texas, was taken into custody on September 7, 2023, on an outstanding warrant for one count of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle after causing a fatal crash. He is currently booked into Hunt County Jail, with bond set at $300,000.

According to Hunt County Jail Records, Hood has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1995, which includes multiple arrests for theft, fraud, burglary, assault, and probation/parole violations.
