San Antonio Woman Arrested With More Than 250 Grams of Meth in Guadalupe County Investigation

SEGUIN, Texas - A joint narcotics investigation involving the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of a San Antonio woman Tuesday evening in Seguin.

Authorities said officers conducted a traffic stop around 6:30 p.m. May 26 in the 200 block of Austin Street in Seguin.

Investigators identified the suspect as Anna Vazquez of San Antonio.

According to officials, Vazquez was allegedly found in possession of approximately 254 grams of methamphetamine.

Investigators believe Vazquez was involved in distributing narcotics throughout Guadalupe County.

Vazquez was booked into the Guadalupe County Jail on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 involving between 200 and 400 grams of methamphetamine.

The sheriff’s office said it will continue working with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to combat narcotics trafficking and remove dangerous drugs from the community.
