Undercover Operation Leads to Drug Bust at Floresville Business

WILSON COUNTY, Texas - A months-long undercover investigation led to a drug bust at a Floresville business and the arrest of an employee on multiple felony charges.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, working through a Drug Enforcement Administration task force, conducted the operation over several months before executing a search warrant at Purple Haze in Floresville.

On March 11, 2026, the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Operation Lone Star Task Force, along with the Floresville Police Department, La Vernia Police Department, Karnes County Sheriff’s Office, and the 81st District Attorney’s Office, carried out the search without incident.

During the operation, investigators arrested 45-year-old Aladina L. Rodriguez of Floresville, an employee at the business. She faces multiple felony charges related to drug possession, including methamphetamine and THC.

Authorities said they seized more than 400 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which they estimate is equivalent to roughly 60 banker boxes of product. Investigators also recovered additional evidence indicating the products being sold were illegal.

Officials are warning the public to be cautious when purchasing products from similar establishments, noting that packaging may appear compliant with Texas law while the contents may not be.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.

Authorities also credited partnering agencies for their assistance in the operation
