SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A coordinated law enforcement operation led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man and the seizure of narcotics, cash, and a firearm Wednesday during the execution of federal warrants in Bexar County.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office assisted the FBI San Antonio Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force on February 25 while serving judicial warrants in the 10200 block of Caspian Bend.
During the operation, investigators discovered narcotics, U.S. currency, and other contraband inside the residence. Deputies identified 19-year-old Jouhuan Torres at the location and determined he was in direct possession of illegal drugs.
Authorities recovered the following items:
220 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
174 grams of THC vape cartridges
One shotgun
$23,735 in U.S. currency
Investigators also seized Torres’ vehicle as part of the ongoing investigation.
Torres was taken into custody and transported to the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. He faces two felony charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 (4g–400g).
Officials said the scene has been secured and there is no threat to the public. The investigation remains ongoing.
