SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Two men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a New Year’s Day shooting that left a man dead as he attempted to leave a West Side bar, according to San Antonio police.

Investigators said 37-year-old Marcus Robinson-Tynes was shot Jan. 1, 2026, while sitting in his vehicle in the 9200 block of Potranco Road. Authorities determined a fight that began inside the bar spilled into the parking lot, where gunfire erupted.

Police said Robinson-Tynes was attempting to drive away when he was shot inside his vehicle. His car then crashed into a wall. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

San Antonio Police Department Homicide detectives conducted an investigation that led to the identification of two suspects. With assistance from the Street Crimes Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service, Dai’Vonte E’Shaun Titus-Ross, 29, was taken into custody without incident Feb. 21 at the Ingram Apartments in the 6000 block of Ingram Road.

Titus-Ross and Mark Howard Anthony, 39, were both arrested, booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center, and charged with murder.

The investigation remains ongoing.
