During the search, deputies recovered a significant amount of illegal drugs, weapons, and cash. Seized items included approximately 6.16 ounces of prepackaged marijuana, 40 grams of liquid methamphetamine, 0.5 grams of cocaine, numerous THC vape products, two handguns, and $770 in U.S. currency.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy Saunders of Lakehills was arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine in amounts greater than four grams but less than 200 grams, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds, and possession with intent to deliver tetrahydrocannabinol.

Kirsten Saunders was also arrested and faces multiple drug-related charges, including possession of methamphetamine in excess of four grams but less than 200 grams, possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds, possession of THC in a controlled substance group, and possession with intent to deliver THC.

Sheriff Josh Teitge praised the coordinated effort by deputies, stating that the operation successfully dismantled a narcotics distribution and sales operation that was disguised as a local business.

“The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office will continue to aggressively target criminal narcotics activity to improve the safety and security of our citizens,” Teitge said.

Both suspects were taken into custody following the search, and the investigation remains part of the Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug distribution in Bandera County.
