Texas DPS and Uvalde PD Seize Significant Amounts of THC Products and Marijuana in Drug Bust

In a joint operation, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division (Eagle Pass/Uvalde) and the Uvalde Police Department (PD) executed a State of Texas-issued search warrant on the 300 block of South Camp St. within the City of Uvalde, TX. The aim of the operation was to target drug-related activities and apprehend drug dealers operating within the community.

During the operation, law enforcement officers searched the premises and uncovered an extensive haul of illegal substances and drug paraphernalia. The DPS CID search revealed a staggering 8,636.4 grams (approximately 19.04 pounds) of THC products, as well as 6.6 ounces of marijuana.

The controlled substances, scales, containers, packaging materials, sealing devices, and other drug paraphernalia seized during the raid are believed to be part of a significant drug distribution operation in the area. The discovery highlights the ongoing efforts of the authorities to combat drug-related crime and safeguard the well-being of the community.
