The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person alert for 7-year-old Mia Moore, who has been missing since March 2025. Mia was last seen with her mother, Elena Gonzales, who is now the subject of an active arrest warrant for interference with child custody issued on December 9, 2025.
Mia is described as 4’3”–4’6” tall, weighing approximately 50 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities say Mia was withdrawn from her school in August 2025 and confirmed to be enrolled in an online program.
Sheriff’s officials are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mia or Elena to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or via email at missingpersons@bexar.org.
Investigators emphasize the public should not approach Elena but instead report any tips to law enforcement. The agency noted that the alert was delayed while the investigation progressed and the warrant was finalized.
