Mr. Flores, who believed he was communicating with a 15-year-old female, was apprehended by the SAPD Covert Unit in Boerne, Texas.
The operation began when detectives from the Human Exploitation Unit identified Mr. Flores as a potential threat based on his online activities. He was observed soliciting what he believed to be a 15-year-old girl for sexual conduct.
On July 26th, 2023, the SAPD Covert Unit, working in collaboration with the Boerne Police Department, located Mr. Flores as he was heading to work in Boerne, Texas. The arrest was executed without incident, and Mr. Flores was taken into custody based on the active warrant issued for his arrest.
Following the arrest, Anthony Flores was booked in the Kendall County Jail on charges of Online Solicitation of a Minor with Intent for Sexual Conduct. The offense carries severe legal consequences, reflecting the seriousness of crimes involving minors.
