Leon County Deputies Recover $30K in Stolen Firearms, Two Suspects Arrested


LEON COUNTY, TX — Sheriff Kevin Ellis announced that the Leon County Sheriff’s Office has recovered more than $30,000 worth of firearms stolen during a recent residential burglary.

Investigators identified and apprehended Samuel Keith Morales and Michael Ethan Henderson in connection with the burglary. Both men are being held in the Leon County Jail on Burglary of a Habitation charges.

Sheriff’s investigators located and secured the stolen weapons, preventing them from reaching the community. Authorities say the recovery marks an important step in protecting Leon County residents and reducing potential criminal activity.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office urges residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity. The case remains under investigation, and additional charges may be filed.
