The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Covert unit has arrested 22-year-old Jeamaryun Gaines in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on July 15th. The victim was shot multiple times by a masked offender at an apartment complex located on the 2000 block of Oakhill Road, leaving them in critical condition.
Following extensive investigation and with the help of community cooperation, the SAPD Homicide unit was able to identify Gaines as the alleged suspect. An arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon was promptly issued.
Today, the SAPD Covert unit located Gaines and took him into custody without incident. He will now face charges in connection with the shooting incident, as the SAPD continues its efforts to bring justice to the victim and their loved ones.
