Guadalupe County Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault and Drug Distribution Following SWAT Raid

A 20-year-old Guadalupe County resident is facing multiple felony charges after deputies uncovered weapons and drugs during a search related to an aggravated assault investigation.

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office received information about an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that had occurred in the 2200 block of FM 467. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division conducted interviews that led to a felony arrest warrant for the suspect, identified as Jorge Erik Segura.

The GCSO SWAT team executed a search warrant at the residence where the assault allegedly took place. During the search, investigators recovered evidence related to the assault, including four pistols and one assault pistol.

In addition to the weapons, investigators found substantial quantities of illegal drugs and materials indicating drug distribution. Seized items included 216 grams of THC vape cartridges, 310 grams of THC edibles, 76 grams of psilocybin (a hallucinogenic compound), and other related evidence.

Segura was taken into custody and booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Facility. He faces charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
