UPDATE: On Sunday morning, June 22nd, shortly before 7:00 am, an anonymous tip regarding the suspect's whereabouts led Dilley PD Officers and Frio County Deputies to a local motel located off Highway 85 in Dilley. Rodriguez was taken into custody without incident.

The Dilley Police Department is actively searching for 49-year-old Orlando Rosendo Rodriguez, who is wanted for homicide in connection with a fatal incident that occurred early Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Dilley.
Emergency personnel from Dilley PD and EMS responded to the scene, where life-saving efforts were attempted, but the victim was pronounced deceased. Preliminary evidence identified Rodriguez as the primary suspect.
Rodriguez was last seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 21 at the Refuel Convenience Store located at 408 E. Comal Street in Pearsall, Texas.
Rodriguez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8” tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his arm and has a left prosthetic leg. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Law enforcement urges the public not to approach or attempt to apprehend Rodriguez. Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts should call 9-1-1 immediately.
