Three Arrested in Multi-Million Dollar San Marcos Jewelry Heist

Three men have been arrested in connection with an audacious April 25 robbery at Royal Jewelers in San Marcos, where masked suspects armed with hammers stole over 100 pieces of jewelry. The arrests were made last Friday in coordinated operations across San Antonio and Austin.

On April 25, two masked men, wielding hammers, stormed Royal Jewelers in San Marcos. They ordered the clerk to the ground, then proceeded to smash display cases and make off with more than 100 pieces of jewelry. The suspects initially fled in a stolen Ford Fusion bearing a fake temporary tag, later switching to a white Dodge Durango.

Thanks to comprehensive surveillance camera footage, license plate reader technology, and diligent work by San Marcos Police Detectives, three suspects were identified and apprehended.
