San Antonio Woman Vanished After Argument with Husband in 2016; Case Still Unsolved

Missing: Bianca Carrasco

Nearly nine years after 29-year-old Bianca Carrasco disappeared from her San Antonio home, investigators and family members continue to seek answers in the suspicious missing persons case.

Carrasco, a Hispanic female and dedicated nurse, was last seen on the evening of May 1, 2016. According to police reports, she walked away from her residence on the 16000 block of Walnut Creek Drive following an argument with her husband and never returned.

Her sister, Jovanna, became alarmed the next day when Bianca failed to answer her phone and missed work—both considered uncharacteristic behaviors. Jovanna reported Bianca missing to police after multiple failed attempts to contact her.

The investigation revealed Bianca’s husband had learned of a possible affair and had withdrawn all funds from their bank accounts and taken her phone. Police also pursued a lead that she may have visited a male friend on the day of her disappearance. That man’s mother told officers a woman had been at their home and was picked up around 4:00 p.m. by Bianca’s husband.

Authorities have investigated both the husband and the man Bianca was reportedly involved with, but no arrests have been made and no suspects have been named. Foul play has not been ruled out, but few leads have surfaced.

Bianca was last seen wearing colorful pastel leggings and a blue jean jacket. Her family does not believe she would have left her children behind voluntarily.

Anyone with information about Bianca Carrasco’s whereabouts or the circumstances of her disappearance is urged to contact the San Antonio Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 210-207-7660 or submit an anonymous tip to San Antonio Crime Stoppers or through the P3 Tips Mobile App.
