On Friday, January 10, 2025, just before 9:00 p.m., emergency crews from Station 15 responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment on FM 1957 (Potranco Road), east of FM 471 near the Megan’s Landing subdivision.
Engine and Medic 15 arrived on scene within three minutes of being dispatched and confirmed a single vehicle had overturned, trapping the driver inside.
Firefighters acted quickly, cutting the door off the vehicle to access the driver. The patient was extricated in under five minutes from the time crews arrived on scene.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
