Bandera Independent School District (BISD) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Patrick Sizemore as the new Principal of Bandera High School (BHS), effective June 26, 2023. Mr. Sizemore's extensive experience and dedication to education make him an exceptional choice for this important leadership role.
Having obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Lubbock Christian University and his Master's Degree from UTSA, Mr. Sizemore is currently pursuing his Doctorate at West Texas A&M University, with plans to graduate later this year. Over the past four years, he has served as the Assistant Principal and subsequently as the Principal of Bandera Middle School, where he has played a crucial role in fostering trust and effective communication among the staff, students, and the wider community.
Superintendent Bitzkie expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Mr. Sizemore is an incredibly intelligent and hands-on leader who possesses a wealth of knowledge in various aspects of education. We are confident that he will hit the ground running alongside the administrative team at BHS, building upon the school's strengths and expanding learning opportunities for both students and staff. It is clear that Patrick was the ideal candidate for this position."
With Dr. Kenneth Vogel transitioning to new educational endeavors, Mr. Sizemore will assume the role of Principal at Bandera High School, bringing his expertise and fresh perspective to the campus.
