The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is asking for the public's assistance in locating 21-year-old Rolando Tello, who is wanted on a felony charge of sexual assault of a child.
On April 28, 2025, BCSO Child Safe investigators responded to Northeast Methodist Hospital following a report initially made to the Live Oak Police Department regarding an outcry of sexual assault. The alleged offense involved a juvenile who reported being assaulted by Rolando Tello on April 26, 2025.
According to investigators, electronic evidence was discovered during the investigation that corroborates the victim's account of the assault. The victim also reported meeting Tello through Instagram and communicating with him before exchanging phone numbers, which investigators noted as potential grooming behavior.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Tello. However, when investigators attempted to apprehend him at his residence, they found that he had fled to avoid law enforcement.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about Rolando Tello's whereabouts to contact them at 210-335-6000 or via email at BCSOTIPS@bexar.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
