The San Antonio Park Police are currently investigating after a body was discovered in San Pedro Creek just south of downtown on Monday morning.
Around 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a call in the 1000 block of Nogalitos, where they found a body on the south bank of the creek bed.
According to the police, the body showed no visible signs of trauma. The discovery was made in the aftermath of a late Sunday night and early Monday morning flood that affected the creek. It remains uncertain whether the flood played a role in the person's death.
The investigation is ongoing.
