Priscilla Caballero (2021)

In a recent court hearing, 38-year-old Priscilla Caballero admitted guilt in the murder case of Yvette Salinas. The 290th District Court Judge issued a sentence on January 10, 2023, confining Caballero to 35 years in prison.

The incident occurred on January 5, 2021, when Caballero confronted Salinas, who had become involved with Caballero's partner during her incarceration. Salinas visited the shared partner's home, leading to a confrontation initiated by Caballero. During the altercation, Caballero brandished a gun and fired, resulting in the fatal shooting of Salinas.

Following the tragic event, Caballero left the scene but later turned herself in to the San Antonio Police Department. She confessed to the shooting, leading to her arrest and subsequent court proceedings.
