Suspect Arrested in Connection with December Burglary in Gillespie County

On Monday, January 8, 2024, investigators and deputies from the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) pursued leads related to a burglary reported late last December at a residence on Klein Branch Road.

The GCSO successfully identified Lisa Miche Londot, 59, of Harper, as the suspect in the said burglary based on gathered information. Following this identification, an arrest warrant for Burglary of Habitation was obtained on Tuesday, January 9th.

Acting swiftly, GCSO deputies and investigators located Londot at her residence on Crossing Drive in Harper, executing the arrest warrant at approximately 1:33 p.m. She was taken into custody without incident, and later booked into the Gillespie County Jail. During the arrest, Londot cooperated with authorities and surrendered some of the stolen property.

Londot's bond has been set at $20,000.

The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the overwhelming community support, citing numerous phone calls, Crime Stoppers tips, and Facebook messages that aided in the investigation. The incident underscores the importance of community involvement in solving crimes, as authorities work collaboratively with residents to maintain public safety.
