Kerrville Breaks Ground on New $45 Million Public Safety Facility

Kerrville Mayor Judy Eychner, alongside members of the City Council, city staff, and community stakeholders, participated in a groundbreaking ceremony today for the new Public Safety Facility located at 365 Clearwater Paseo.

The $45-million project, spanning 69,000 square feet, marks a significant milestone for the city. Approved by voters in a May 2022 bond election, the facility is strategically situated with convenient access to major transportation thoroughfares, Kerrville ISD campuses, and the Kerr County Jail.

Upon completion, the state-of-the-art building will serve as the central hub for various essential services. It is slated to house the City of Kerrville’s Police Department, administrative offices of the Fire Department, the Emergency Operations Center, Municipal Court, and relevant information and technology systems.
