In the early hours of Thursday morning, November 11th, Shavano Park Police responded to reports of vehicle burglaries in the neighborhoods of Warbler Way, Broken Bough, and Arrow Mound. Officers were dispatched at approximately 5:30 a.m. to investigate the incidents.
A total of 9 vehicle burglary reports were filed by residents in the affected areas. While a few vehicles showed signs of forced entry, such as broken windows, the majority of the targeted vehicles were left unsecured. In most cases, the burglars had rummaged through the vehicles without taking any property.
Among the reported incidents, one complainant noted the theft of money and a radar detector from their vehicle. Surveillance footage from various locations revealed the possible involvement of four individuals who appeared to be juveniles. Additionally, a blue Ford Escort was reported by a witness as being seen in the vicinity with the suspects.
