The arrest follows an alleged assault involving Ramirez and her dating partner. The incident occurred on November 7, 2023.
Toni Ramirez, who joined the Sheriff's Office on January 23, 2023, was terminated by Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar in the wake of her arrest. The termination was classified as a probationary dismissal, and Ramirez has no avenue for recourse. She has received a dishonorable discharge, making her ineligible for rehire.
Both the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division and Internal Affairs are conducting separate but concurrent investigations into the incident.
