In Kerrville, Texas, a routine traffic stop on Saturday, October 28, led to a significant drug-related arrest. At approximately 1:16 p.m., a Kerrville Police Department officer initiated a stop for a traffic offense in the 2200 block of SH 173.
During the stop, the driver of the vehicle took an unusual action, throwing a bag out of the car window. This suspicious act prompted the officer to detain the 38-year-old Kerrville resident. The discarded bag was swiftly retrieved and found to contain approximately 42 grams of methamphetamine.
In addition to the drug-related discovery, further inspection revealed that the temporary license plate on the vehicle had expired back in 2022. However, the plate had been tampered with, altered to indicate it was valid through November 2023. Furthermore, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver's license.
As a result of these findings, the driver was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Kerr County Jail. The individual now faces multiple charges, including Manufacture or Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (with a quantity of more than four grams but less than 200 grams), Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Wrong, Fictitious, Altered, or Obscured License Plate, and Driving While License Invalid with a Previous Conviction.
