The Grace Center, a newly established 36-bed shelter dedicated to assisting individuals affected by domestic violence, will be the beneficiary of the donated canned food items.
The Grace Center, which opened its doors in August 2023, plays a vital role in offering support and services to those who have been impacted by domestic violence. Through the generous contributions from the Canned Food Drive and other fundraising initiatives, the center aims to provide a safe refuge for those seeking shelter from their abusers.
Residents and community members looking to contribute to this cause can do so by bringing their canned food donations to the Law Enforcement Center, located at 1601 East Main Street in Fredericksburg. Your participation in the Canned Food Drive will aid The Grace Center in its mission to offer assistance and protection to those affected by domestic violence.
