San Marcos Police are urgently seeking assistance from the public in locating 18-year-old Ray Robert Saenz Jr., who is a suspect in a homicide that took place on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Authorities have classified Saenz as armed and dangerous.
The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. when San Marcos Police responded to a distress call reporting shots fired at an apartment complex on Highway 123. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of 41-year-old Nathaniel Lamart Hudson inside one of the apartment units. Despite immediate medical intervention, including CPR, Hudson succumbed to his injuries due to the severity of the wounds sustained.
The crime scene revealed visible bullet holes in the dining area of the apartment, and police collected several shell casings, indicating that Hudson was shot multiple times. Investigative details suggest that Hudson and Saenz were acquainted prior to the altercation leading to the shooting. The incident occurred following a dispute at the apartment complex, the specifics of which are currently under investigation.
