Bandera Middle School Cross Country Teams Shine in Dilley Meet

The Bandera Middle School cross country teams left their mark at the second meet of the season, held in Dilley on Saturday, September 2. Despite the scorching heat, the middle school Bulldogs showcased their determination and talent on the track.

As the day heated up, the 7th and 8th-grade racers were raring to go. And go they did, with impressive results to show for their efforts. Eight young athletes achieved personal best times, demonstrating their dedication to improvement.

Not only did individuals excel, but the team as a whole also stood out. Several athletes earned coveted personal medals for their outstanding performances, a testament to their hard work and commitment to the sport.

The highlight of the meet came when the 7th and 8th-grade girls secured first-place team plaques.

Looking ahead, the Bandera cross country teams are eager to defend their home turf in the upcoming meet at Bandera City Park next Saturday.
