Guadalupe County Deputies Arrest 40-Year-Old Man on Sexual Assault Charge

SEGUIN, Texas - A 40-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after Guadalupe County investigators worked overnight on a sexual assault investigation stemming from an incident on Still Meadow Road.

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as Bradley Lyn Baker, 40. He was arrested on a warrant charging him with sexual assault.

The investigation began Wednesday, August 26, 2026, when the Sheriff's Office received a complaint regarding a sexual assault that authorities said had recently occurred on Still Meadow Road in Guadalupe County.

Investigators followed up on the complaint throughout the night, gathering evidence and information to corroborate the allegations. During the investigation, deputies identified Baker as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

At approximately 7:20 a.m. on August 27, deputies located Baker during a traffic stop on West Kingsbury Street near North Bowie Street.

Baker was taken into custody without incident. Investigators interviewed him before he was booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center on the sexual assault charge.

Authorities said they are withholding additional details to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation and the privacy of those involved.
