Third Woman Arrested for Robbing and Assaulting Knicks Fans in Downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Three individuals have been charged following a violent robbery that left two New York Knicks fans seriously injured in downtown San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Investigators say the incident occurred on the night of June 13, 2026, in the 200 block of East Houston Street.

Police allege that 21-year-old Cassidy Barrera assaulted and robbed two victims, both described as Knicks fans, during the encounter. The victims, who range in age from 40 to 65 years old, suffered serious bodily injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Barrera, 28-year-old Destiny Converse, and 46-year-old Maria Gomez have all been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Robbery.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the attack or the relationship between the suspects and victims.

Police said one additional suspect connected to the robbery remains outstanding.

The investigation remains active as detectives work to identify and locate the remaining suspect.
