Two Women Arrested After Knicks Fans Robbed and Seriously Injured Following Spurs Game in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Two women have been arrested after police say they assaulted and robbed two New York Knicks fans following a Spurs game in downtown San Antonio.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident occurred on June 13, 2026, after the game ended when 28-year-old Destiny Converse and 46-year-old Maria Gomez allegedly attacked two men in the downtown area.

Investigators said the assault and robbery resulted in serious bodily injury to both victims, who were between the ages of 40 and 65. The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, the San Antonio Police Department released surveillance images of the suspects and asked the public for assistance identifying them.

Authorities later positively identified both women and took them into custody.

Converse and Gomez have been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Robbery.

Police have not released additional details regarding what led to the confrontation or the current condition of the victims.

In a statement, the San Antonio Police Department emphasized that violence has no place in the community.

"This is a reminder that violent behavior towards anyone is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our community or the spirit of San Antonio," the department said. "The San Antonio Police Department takes these incidents seriously."

The investigation remains ongoing.
