MCALLEN, Texas - McAllen Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect wanted in connection with an assault investigation involving a 31-year-old woman.
Police said the assault occurred May 7, 2026, in the 1300 block of East Daffodil Avenue in McAllen.
According to investigators, the victim was physically assaulted, suffered facial injuries, and was allegedly placed in handcuffs during the incident.
Detectives identified Roberto Joshua Trevino as the suspect in the case.
