SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A 36-year-old man was arrested May 5 after the San Antonio Police Department Auto Theft Task Force recovered more than $100,000 in stolen truck taillights and other property allegedly connected to illegal sales.

Police identified the suspect as Roy Brandon Diaz. According to SAPD, Diaz was arrested at approximately 10:35 p.m.
Authorities said investigators recovered multiple stolen truck taillights valued at more than $100,000, along with more than 20 firearms, property valued at more than $125,000 allegedly obtained through illegal sales, and a vehicle valued at $75,000.
According to records, the thefts occurred on April 23.
Diaz was charged with Theft of Property and is being held without bond at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.
