Man Arrested After Firing Into Crowded Bar in Alamo Ranch Area

Michael Alexander Garcia

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A man has been arrested after allegedly opening fire at a crowded bar in the Alamo Ranch area, authorities said.

Bexar County deputies responded to the shooting on April 10, 2026. Investigators determined that 24-year-old Michael Garcia fired multiple rounds at the building and a crowded patio after his credit cards were declined.

Witnesses told deputies that Garcia fired from his vehicle as he fled the scene. A security guard at the bar returned fire, but no injuries were reported.

Deputies quickly located Garcia’s vehicle at a nearby residence and tracked it to a garage. He was later identified by witnesses and taken into custody.

Garcia was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center and is facing charges of aggravated robbery and deadly conduct.

The investigation remains ongoing.
