Bexar County, TX — A woman was arrested after authorities say she fired multiple shots toward a man’s vehicle and home following an argument earlier this week.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on March 2, 2026, to a reported shooting in the 7400 block of Legend Point Drive.
Investigators said the victim reported that Abigail Hernandez fired a gun at him and his vehicle after the two were involved in a verbal altercation.
Authorities said Hernandez initially left the area but returned a short time later driving at a high rate of speed. She then fired two shots toward the victim’s vehicle and residence.
The victim later discovered two bullet holes in the taillight area of his vehicle along with damage to the lower bumper. He also told deputies that his daughter had been outside moments before the shots were fired.
Deputies later conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description provided by the victim.
During the stop, investigators said deputies found approximately 0.3 ounces of marijuana, a white vape pen, two shell casings, and one live round inside the vehicle. No firearm was located during the search.
Authorities later found a Taurus M&P 9mm handgun in the roadway nearby that had previously been reported stolen.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Deadly Conduct for Discharging a Firearm, Abandoning or Endangering a Child, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 under one gram, and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.
Her bond was set at $410,000, according to officials.
