SAN ANTONIO, TX - The San Antonio Police Department announced Tuesday, January 20, 2026, that a teacher’s aide at Earl Warren High School has been arrested in connection with an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student.
Detectives arrested George Rene Aguilar Jr., 32, on January 16 after gathering sufficient evidence to charge him with an improper relationship between an educator and a student. According to police, Aguilar is accused of kissing and inappropriately touching a 16-year-old student. Investigators said video evidence supported the allegations.
Earl Warren High School is part of Northside Independent School District and is located at 9411 Military Drive West.
Aguilar has been placed on administrative leave, according to Northside ISD. In a statement, the district said it has filed all required reports with the appropriate agencies, including Child Protective Services and the San Antonio Police Department, and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
“This is a very serious and sensitive matter, and we are limited in the specific details we can share due to the ongoing nature of the investigation,” the district said.
San Antonio police are asking anyone who may have additional information or believes there could be other victims to contact the SAPD Special Victims Unit at 210-207-2313.
